NIEDEROESTERREICH - The festival of narrating artsA festival is like a living organism for me, which grows, develops, absorbs currents and processes them. 2010 – in the 23rd year of our festival (this makes it the oldest festival of this kind after the worldbiggest storytellingfestival in Jonesborough, Tennessee!) have new things to offer: our new logo, which in a world, – more and more dictated by ratio -, should symbolise on one side the magical, on the other side the coronation of simplicity, the talking and listening. The new, or rather refined title of our festival „Festival of narrating arts“ should clearly demonstrate what we practise for years: – not only to present the word, but also music, gesture, dance, artistry -, precisely all „narrative“ at the highest level. All this at the most beautiful places of fantastic Lower Austria, which are fairy tales their own right. At the start of the festival 3 years ago we were present at 4 places, finally we have arrived at our 9th place now and once again will turn these special places for into islands of fantasy for hours and days, of enjoyment and amazement.
Like a person taking us into his arms, saying: „Come here, I tell you a story…“ and thereby spreading moments of happiness which will accompany us a life time.
